I urge you to investigate discount plans because they are the wave of the future when it comes to saving money at the dentist. My kids will be getting braces and we look forward to saving 20% on the entire cost of orthodontic treatment. But what I found was that looking online was be far the superior method of hunting down a good dentist in my area. If seems that if you do not have a traditional insurance plan through your employer or work, you just simple do not have any type of coverage and you are stuck paying full price.
